Vocal Open Mics
JazzWorks' Vocal Open Mics provide a wonderful opportunity for Ottawa-area vocalists to hone their skills in a warm, nurturing environment, under the mentorship of Chad Linsley, Jazz Camp faculty member and pianist extraordinaire from Montreal!
Vocalists receive valuable feedback on stylistics and technique and gain confidence in performance practice. This activity is first-come, first-serve with a maximum of 14 singers each session able to receive mentorship. VOMs happen on the first Sunday of every month from October to June.
Doors are open to all, so even if you would like to come check out a session as an audience member, you are welcome. Vocalists, get there early to secure your spot to sing!
