JazzWorks' Vocal Open Mics provide a wonderful opportunity for Ottawa-area vocalists to hone their skills in a warm, nurturing environment, under the mentorship of a professional jazz musician-educator. Vocalists receive valuable feedback on stylistics and technique and gain confidence in performance practice. This activity is first-come, first-serve with a maximum of 12 singers each session. VOMs happen on the first Sunday of every month from October to May.
Doors are open to all, so even if you would like to come check out a session as an audience member, you are welcome. Vocalists, get there early to secure your spot to sing!
