JazzWorks cannot operate without your help!
Every dollar received helps keep jazz music alive in our community.
JazzWorks Canada, in operation for over 30 years, provides a special niche for adults and high school students in the Ottawa community to immerse themselves in a variety of jazz education initiatives and opportunities including:
  • Composers' Symposium / Practice Retreat
  • Summer Jazz Camp
  • “JazzWorks Presents” Concert Series
  • Masterclasses and intensive workshops with top professional jazz artists/educators
  • Monthly Jam Sessions and Vocal Open Mics
  • “Jazz in the Schools” workshops for high school students in Ottawa schools
As a non-profit and charitable organization, JazzWorks has ongoing costs to maintain our high quality of community programming. There are many ways to help, including volunteering and donating.

Donate directly to our programming and operations

Donate to the General JazzWorks Fund through the Ottawa Community Foundation. These funds are used for the day-to-day operations that are necessary to implement the JazzWorks programs listed above, including event organization, promotion & advertising and other administrative tasks.
