About the Bulletin Board
JazzWorks is a ‘community of interest’. The JazzWorks Bulletin Board is another way that JazzWorks is facilitating networking among members of the Ottawa jazz community – jazz musicians and jazz afficionados. Some key points:
The Bulletin Board is NOT a user forum. Replies to postings are via email or phone, and are separate from the Bulletin Board itself, just like a traditional non-electronic bulletin board. There are no user-created topics, posted replies, or threads. Use of the bulletin board (access and posting) is restricted to JazzWorks members. Rules of Engagement in the Bulletin Board Postings are submitted by email and may include images. The Bulletin Board page provides the email address for submissions and indicates required and optional information. Submissions are screened by the Bulletin Board Administrator (referred to below as ‘the Administrator’) for appropriateness, completeness, and clarity. Submissions must be JazzWorks-related, in other words related to promoting live jazz. The appropriateness of submissions for posting on the bulletin board is at the discretion of the Administrator. If a submission is deemed inappropriate by the Administrator and the submitter disagrees, the Administrator will forward the submission to a pre-determined JazzWorks Board member who will arbitrate. Please read the rules of
engagement, then away you go! About the Forum
The JazzWorks forum is a great opportunity to ask your jazz questions...and answer those from others!
Rules of Engagement in the Members Forum Keep it clean, pleasant and jazz related, and check back for the responses. Our jazzworks moderator will weigh in if members are unable to answer your question. And, did we mention access is FREE until September 30? If you enjoy using the forum, we hope you will consider becoming a member! Let's talk jazz! |
Every posting has associated with it an expiry date, which is assigned by the Administrator. Postings are deleted from the bulletin board on the expiry date. Note: Users may resubmit postings that have expired as many times as they wish.
