2009 marks our first fundraising campaign
in 16 years of programming. We are proud to maximize our student
participation by keeping our fees low. We are raising funds
to ensure that our programming continues and improves.
On May 6, 2009, we hosted our first evening fundraising event at Arts Court
(2 Daly Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario). “Invitation” was the name of our
event (it’s also the name of a jazz standard). The
evening was an invitation to explore different styles of jazz, and to celebrate
the many talented alumni and faculty of Ottawa’s JazzWorks programs.
